SOCIAL MEDIA FEATURED POEM: Freedom by JJ

I thank god I live in this country more and more each day Where I have freedom in my choices and my opinion is ok In other parts of the world people can get hurt for beliefs It's really sad and heart wrenching to say the very least I respect anyone's choices on how they wanna live their life But when over 200 girls get abducted it makes me wanna cry How long can we sit back and let certain things get outta hand I know we have freedom in this country but we gotta take a stand It doesn't matter your religion I feel most people have good hearts And getting to really know a person is where it really starts Is it fair for a country to suffer because they don't have food Or for innocent people to die because someone's in a bad mood Tsunami,s earthquake,s tornado,s are things in life we can't avoid But when lives are lost for no reason that really makes it hard I write these words in my poem without being afraid of what I say Cause I live in a country with freedom of speech the great US of A
